Fitness Training

If you are out of touch with your body, recovering from illness or injury, seeking strength, energy and vitality, or simply want to let go of stress and tension, Carol has the knowledge, experience and gentle spirit to guide you on your way.

As a certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, Carol emphasizes workouts based on the nature, needs, and goals of each individual client. Synthesizing elements of resistance training, physioball therapy, Yoga, and Pilates, Carol brings a mindful approach to exercise. The Healthy, Happy and Whole approach empowers clients to connect with their bodies and develop fitness practices that incorporate strength, flexibility, and balance training with times of effortless recovery that nurture and refresh the body, mind, and spirit. As an aging athlete herself, Carol feels a special connection with individuals needing help to adapt to the changes and challenges that accompany the aging process as well as those recovering from illness or injury.

"I believe that fitness is a state of state of body, mind, heart and spirit. When we feel good, we are happy, healthy and whole and our lives reflect that inner state. I love working with anyone who wants to feel better and enjoy their life more. I particularly like helping people discover that it is never too late to start and that illness, injury and age may limit us, but they do not have to keep us from feeling happy and living with joy.

"My goal is to support each individual I work with to develop a fitness regime that supports their unique needs and to ensure that their workout is safe, efficient, effective, satisfying and FUN!"

- Carol Friedman of Happy, Healthy and Whole
